If you choose Marek Health’s Guided Optimization program, our providers may gather information about your medical history and current health to provide services to you. This information is called
“Protected Health Information” or “PHI” and includes personal identifying information such as your name, birthdate, and contact information, as well as information about your health, medical conditions, treatment, and prescriptions. Your consultations with a Marek Health provider may establish a doctor/patient relationship.
Marek Diagnostics is exclusive for US residents at this time. Hawaii and US territories are excluded.
We are unable to offer our services to those outside of the continental US. Furthermore, we are unable to work with non-US citizens.
All clients must be able to provide a valid US driver’s license or state issued identification to perform diagnostic testing.
These requirements apply to diagnostics, lab reviews, consultations, and other ancillary services. There is no workaround for this policy. We are unable to recommend other services in your area. We apologize for any inconvenience.

No. While you have the option of making an appointment for your blood draw, LabCorp welcomes walk-ins. The blood draw itself takes about 10 minutes.
If you would like to make an appointment, you can do so here.
Lab results typically arrive within 14 business days after your blood draw but certain results may take longer, depending on the complexity of the assays. We will forward your results to you as soon as they are available.
Many of our panels utilize advanced testing methodologies that require more time to process. Marek Diagnostics refuses to compromise on the validity and reliability of testing assays for the sake of faster turnaround. We pride ourselves on our commitment to providing accurate and high-quality results.
Marek Diagnostics has no control over the speed in which your results are finalized. Results are forwarded within 24 to 48 hours of their arrival at Marek Diagnostics.

Marek Diagnostics will not communicate with insurance companies.
Despite the many benefits derived from advanced diagnostics and early detection, insurance companies consider many diagnostic services to be elective.
Some clients have had success using FSA or HSA accounts towards their bloodwork. Marek Diagnostics can provide copies of invoices and lab requisitions if needed. However, we cannot provide procedure codes (CPT) or diagnostic codes (ICD-10) as we are direct pay and cannot seek reimbursement from your insurance company. Additionally we will not create atypical invoices or delay payment or create installment plans.

Your lab requisition form is valid for 6 months from the date of your order. If for some reason you are unable to schedule your draw within that time frame, please reach out to our customer service department to receive an updated requisition form – free of charge.

- Please print out your lab requisition form. Though a physical copy of the requisition is not required, we recommend bringing one to help troubleshoot any potential issues. Keep a digital copy readily available if needed.
- Bring your US driver's license or state-issued ID. No additional payment, form of ID, or insurance information is necessary.
- Ideally, perform your labs in a fasted state (8 hrs of no food/drink) and avoid strenuous exercise for 24 hrs prior to your blood draw. We recommend scheduling your lab draw in the morning.
- Drink plenty of water. Phlebotomists often recommend drinking two glasses of water prior to your draw to ensure sufficient blood flow.
- Cease biotin (vitamin B7) supplementation 72 hrs prior to your blood draw. High levels of biotin in the blood may interfere with certain lab assays causing inaccurate results. Note: your multivitamin or hair-skin-nails vitamin may contain biotin.
For menstruating women who are assessing hormonal function, labs are ideally drawn during the mid-luteal phase of the menstrual cycle to assess ovulatory health.
This is typically 7 days after ovulation or 7 days prior to the initiation of menses. If you don’t already track your menstrual cycle, consider utilizing a free app like Flo or purchasing a menstruation diary.
Rest assured, most clients report the process is no more painful than a tiny pinch. Please let your phlebotomist know if you are susceptible to fainting, syncope, or vasovagal response.
- Lab requisition form signed by a partnered medical provider within our network.
- Blood draw and urine sample collection fees.
- All lab testing fees.
- Administration fees.
